I hope you don't mind how I started things off and it's kind of short. >.<;; You can choose whether or not to be the person Jas bumps into, sorry if it's bad! D:
I DARE YOU TO SAY THEY TASTE THE SAME
Honolulu was definitely not Venice. While most people had already adjusted to the differences, Jason was considered the minority. It wasn't necessarily hate or discomfort that spurned on the feeling of foreignness but rather the inability to change as swiftly. Ever since the vaccination, his life took a one-eighty degree turn. It started off with a simple scratch on his knee that healed with a mere touch of his hand on the wound then curiosity had him further delving into whatever mysteries lay ahead. He attempted to aid random strangers who fell and hurt themselves and every now and then his powers would work but every other time it failed him. Was he the only one who had such abilities? Was he the only one finding it a tedious task to re-adjust his lifestyle to all the changes? He hoped not. Although he only had his powers for a good few months he had already noted the obvious side-effects. He didn't age quite as quickly but then again not a lot could be said in a few months but he was sure that he certainly didn't look his age. Not that it was a bad thing but did that mean he was no longer going to grow? The thought saddened him; it seemed that drinking milk so consistently would be of no avail but there was no point in giving up now was there? A sigh emitted from his mouth as he swam about in an ocean of thoughts that fluttered about his mind. It wasn't depressing, more so tiring. He was constantly debating over the same things and all the while there were no solutions to his questions, there was no one to answer him and he was left deserted with his inquiries.

Jason shook his head as if the thoughts would filter themselves out of his mind by doing so but the physical gesture made him believe it would and in its own way, it did. The blond diverted his attention to Iolani Palace and try he did to admire the scenery but his attention span was unfortunately extremely small and for that he paid a large price. Boredom so easily pushed him here and there and all he could do was take it like a helpless victim of a bully abuse. He walked without any particular direction in mind, in fact, he had already lost focus on the scenery and again found homage in his thoughts. Jas decided that the only means of escaping from this mundane routine was to go partying and he would do so tonight but the hours between now and clubbing was far too large to simply waste by walking around doing nothing. Insanity, he could feel it clutching at his very mind and he damn near died mentally but he was suddenly jerked out of his thoughts when he felt a sudden collision against his shoulder. Azure visionaries widened when he realized that he had quite literally walked into someone and inevitably caused the both of them to fall. Flustered, Jason rushed to get up and brush himself off before reaching his hand out to assist the other person. "I'm so sorry! Are you alright?" His brows furrowed worriedly as he pulled the woman up from the ground and he proceeded to stumble about his words, "Are you hurt anywhere? I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going."

Fantastic, bump into a random stranger and make a fool of himself, that was always the way to go but then again Jas was well known for his uncanny knack of clumsiness and getting into peculiar situations. Though this was the last thing from strange since he was sure that everyone had those days where they were so wrapped up in their thoughts that they bumped into someone else but nonetheless it was embarrassing. An awkward, crooked smile pulled at the corners of his carnation hued lips and he laughed with one hand scratching at the back of his head. "I really didn't mean to, are you alright?" He inquired once more as if asking twice wasn't enough but at the very least he had regained his composure.

outfit; was perfectly fine dear. c: my post, on the other hand, lacks... everything. so, yeah, sorry for this sucky post. D:
'CAUSE I'VE NEVER FELT SO ALIVE
Bella had been having a good few weeks here in Hawaii. In general, the place made her feel so much more relaxed and easy going. She was her usual self, fun loving and always smiling. There was no more depression, no more pain over those little things that built up into something huge and intimidating. Everyday she saw those salty, arching waves crash against the sand, pulling golden grains into an endless blue. The amount of adventuring in Hawaii was just... enthralling for the girl; she'd never been to such a new and exciting place. Of course, Venice had been new but there was that atmosphere of melancholy and misery that hung like a shroud over all in it's streets. There were those select few who, through it all, still managed to smile. Bella hoped could've been one of those people, and in the beginning she was, but she supposed that the suffocating atmosphere just got to her and helped her to break. Anyway, moving on! Away from such depressing matters, she'd bumped into Joseph. Her best friend/brother Joseph. Of course, he was just like himself as far as Bella could remember but he looked so much happier. Bella felt like a weight was lifted off her shoulders and it was just all so... so... good. To be free, to be without worry. The cure - the needle - had helped everyone and, despite Bella's crippling fear of needles, she'd managed it. She was okay. She wasn't dead! But, on the other hand, something strange had happened to her... something not normal. In moments of fear or rage she just walked through things. Like she was a ghost or a superhero.

Of course, it had initially scared her but she was positive that she might be able to control this weird, unnatural occurance. She'd be able to use it at will and not moments of weakness. With a soft sigh, Bella let her eyes travel the gardens of the palace. Beauty in every hibiscus, every petal that danced in a breeze. Palms swayed in the same wind, swaying to the melody of crashing waves and calling birds, children laughing and parents chatting. Bella lost herself in it all - taste, sight, smell, sound - and disappeared into her thoughts. She stared at the palace, then the trees and, finally, the sky. The sun glared at her, bright in her eyes and she quickly averted her gaze. Before she even knew what was happening, she collided with someone and stumble to the ground, landing on her ass with a gasp. Well, that had thrown her out of dreamland. She glanced up at whatever or, whoever, had knocked her over to see a man brush himself down and reach out to her. "Oh, uhm. Yeah, I'm okay but I think I broke my butt knuckle." She offered the man a smile with her attempt at a 'joke', taking hold of his hand as he assisted her to stand. "I'm not hurt and, hey, it's okay! Stuff happens, accidents occur." She let a sigh of air and released the man's hand. The blonde finally took the time to study who she had unwillingly decided to play 'bumper-cars' with. A rather attractive (actually, really attractive) blonde who was nearly around her height.

Okay, so, she had bumped into someone for a second time since arriving in Hawaii however, this time, he was the one having a 'session' over it, asking if she was okay and taking the blame. She quickly brushed herself down, sweeping off anything that may have clung to her as she collided with the ground. He looked slightly awkward as he smiled, laughed a little and Bella smiled back at him shyly. Of course, something like that was always going to be embarressing for the both of them. "I am absolutely a-okay. And, uhm, how about yourself? Sorry I didn't make sure you were all good." How rude of her!

I'm so horribly sorry for the umpteenth time for the long wait. >.<;; And your post did not lack! <3 :]
I DARE YOU TO SAY THEY TASTE THE SAME
Another sheepish laugh escaped his mouth at her humorous comment and he flashed a small smile. "I'm sorry and I'm glad you understand." The blond stated lightly before clasping the woman's petite hands in his own and pulling her off the ground. Once he let go, Jas took the time to give her a quick look over and he flustered. It was bad enough that he bumped into her in the first place but the fact that he had to bump into someone as pretty as her, well... The initial pink that painted over his cheeks reddened immensely and he immediately cast his glance towards the scenery that suddenly looked rather marvelous. It was safe to say that Jas was an open book, he wasn't too good at telling lies and he most certainly was not made for hiding emotions. It wasn't his forte point to do so and thus he did not make futile attempts to mask his feelings considering the end result never changed, people still saw through him like a transparent shield. "Me? I'm perfectly fine!" The blond chirped eagerly and both his hands lifted to display his uncut palms since naturally in order to lessen the impact of a fall humans would instinctively extend their hands and as a result, the cuts would originate there. And even if he were to get hurt, his altered genetics forbade him from attaining any actual wounds or scars; it was the beneficial side effects of being a healer but all the while there were other less flattering problems that often arose but he could only do so much to ameliorate them. Then again, he was sure he wasn't the only one experiencing kinks in their bodies.

"Ah, my name's Jason." He stated and again stuck his hand out again but this time for a formal greeting. "Jason Vanguard. What's your name?" The blond refused to allowed the opportunity for some company pass, it was bad enough that he was walking around with his head up in the clouds but to do so for the whole day? He'd much rather not. "And to make up for our earlier mishap, how would you like a tour around Iolani Palace by... Me? Also, maybe some lunch after?" He wasn't as considerably as smooth as any other charismatic men who knew how to talk to women but he had a certain charm of his own, or so he hoped. Sure he wasn't a walking Eiffel Tower nor was he extremely buff, though he was quite toned, and he definitely didn't know how to sweet-talk women. He said things as they were, he was awkward, and he was ever so shy. It really was a unique compilation of aspects but it made up for who he was and if anything, he was proud of who he was. And if anything, the woman herself seemed to stem off of the same routes as himself. They were both shy or at least that's how he read her gentle movements to be. A smile danced across his face as he shoved his hands in his pockets and turned to the side, clearing a path that he himself was blocking by standing in front of her. "I promise, I'll make quite a good tour guide and afterward I'll take you to a dainty place to have lunch." Oh what a charmer, he ought to be upgraded from slightly awkward to some other more suitable title.

He had hoped her reply would be along the lines of agreeing to his preposition, in fact he threw in a little act of charades by straightening himself out and patting his hair down. With a quick clearing of his throat, he spoke once more, "Welcome to Iolani Palace, I'll be your tour guide for the day, Jason Vanguard at your service." He mused with a brilliant smile that was accompanied soon after by dimples along both sides of his cheeks. "Where would you like to go first?" The blond inquired and from then he would await the woman's reply.

don't worry about the wait! :] sorry if this post sucks. i did it on my ipod.
'CAUSE I'VE NEVER FELT SO ALIVE
In true Bella spirit, she couldn't help but laugh with the man. Laughing was an infectious thing to the girl and she couldn't help but join in with it. Laughing was, simply put, relaxing. It eases tension and allows people to smile. "Like I said, no problem." Bella let her Cupid Bow lips smile and her hands brush a loose strand of hair from her vision. She watched as his face became tinted with red and she blinked, a little curiously. Now, if this man before was an open book then Bella is illiterate and can't read. She was terrible at understanding hints and watching expressions for anything that might give away that little "I think you're really pretty" kind of message. To Bella, his face had flushed from aftermath embarressment, nothing more and nothing less. This would probably be one of the many reasons as to why Bella's love life hasn't been incredibly "successful". She never really got what guys meant when they said those really silly things and, sometimes, those plain stupid chat up lines that always left Bella feeling a little sorry for the person who used it. "Have you got a mirror in your pocket? I can see myself in your pants" was supposed to make someone feel appreciated... yeah? No. "Okay. That's good. Glad I didn't assist you in hurting yourself." The blonde grinned as her almost male opposite held his palms up as if he was surrendering to the law. She peered at his palms or signs of grazing and such but his skin looked perfectly fine, no blemishes or the likes. Good news for her acquaintance! The bad news was Bella had a feeling that her backside might bruise and that was never a nice feeling. Bruised ass... ouch. Bella always managed to get herself hurt. In Venice she got herself blown up and shot. She hadn't checked for scaring in a while and she wondered if they'd faded. The doctors said they wouldn't be permanent.

He introduced himself as Jason Vanguard and held his hand out for what Bella could only presume to be a handshake. Taking his hand in her own, smaller hand she introduced herself. "Bella de Vento - call me Bell or Bella. Nice to meet you." She flashed him a smile, her eyes bright and cheerful. That was the one thing Bella loved about her features: her eyes. Like emeralds caught in the sun! Once again, that smile crept to her lips. "A tour and lunch?" Well, that was unexpected! It wasn't like Jason had killed her dog but Bella was never one to pass up an oppurtunity to have company. Another thing about Bella that you may or may not wish to know: she hates feeling lonely. Being an only child who rarely saw her parents, Bella hadgrown to accept anyone's company whoever they were and where they were from.  He quickly made a promise as if having Bella around for company was both what he wanted and needed right now. Bella didn't blame him! Hawaii could be lonely if you had no one who you knew or who knew you. Like being thrown into the deep end of a pool. She chewed her lip, as if she were making a decision. For goodness sake, Bella! Do you go with this young, gorgeous guy or do you wander around Honolulu expecting something exciting and new? Such a hard decision, isn't it? "Alright. I'll let you be my tour slash lunch escort." She beamed at him and watched ads he threw together a little roleplaying act for the girl.

Where would she like to go? Truthfully, Bella had no idea what was inside the palace (she heard the government used it or something) and, in a honesty, the blonde wouldn't be able to say who the government consisted of. Glancing between the palace and Jason she shrugged her shoulders and smiled, somewhat shy and awkwardly. "Suprise me? I really don't have a clue what's inside!" Bella peered at the palace. It definitely looked grand and beautiful. "Well, Jason! Lead the way!" She laughed, very softly. This could be... intersting.

Btw, I just thought you should know, I love how their tables look like they match. x] And holy crud... This is a really bad post. o-o;; I'm not even being modest anymore... If you need me to edit it, tell me! (And it got shorter...)
I DARE YOU TO SAY THEY TASTE THE SAME
The girl's smile was most memorable; the warmth and compassion mirrored that of his mother's though Bella was far younger and definitely more beautiful but then again there was no room for comparison. His mother though frail and weak always had an air of pride about her; the strands of her white and golden hair emphasized the antique beauty that she represented. Ever since birth, Jas had grown caring for his mother as opposed to having her nurture him. He understood the responsibility and burden of watching over a decrepit and though his mother had been lain on her death bed for nearly six years, she always smiled with a brilliance, a shine that he never understood possible from someone who spent the last few years of her life cooped up due to an inevitable frailty. Even until the last second, he was the one who cried and wept but his mother smiled like an angel. He sighed inwardly at the thought of his mother before shaking the thought off. "Bell, it's nice to meet you." Jason responded with a teeth-filled smile; a beautiful name for a beautiful lady. It fit her really well. "It's a beautiful name." He murmured shyly before casting a glance elsewhere. His breath had caught when she repeated his offer, what if she said no? It would be mortifying and disappointing as he found that he would have loved to have gotten to know her better but hopefully he wasn't so awkward so as to thwart people from getting to know him. In all honesty, he wasn't so bad socially but around pretty girls, well that may be somewhat different.

"Fantastic!" He jumped at her acceptance of his offer and he smiled back towards her. Then realization hit hard; he knew nothing about the palace, absolutely nothing. To him it was a grand architecture to admire but what he knew of its history? Nothing. An awkward laugh slipped through his vocals before he turned to direct her towards nowhere in particular. "So... As you see, this palace, the Iolani Palace took decades to build... It was originally constructed for the King..." The pauses and silences didn't much help his attempts to make up a story and he stumbled about here and there unable to recollect himself as well as he normally could. "Ah... And here we are at the grand entrance!" What could he say at this point? He'd drawn a complete blank and he heaved a heavy sigh. "Okay, I'm sorry but I know nothing about Iolani Palace, I guess I was just hoping for your company. It's pretty boring walking around Honolulu alone. If you're not completely turned off by my earlier tour maybe we can skip to lunch?" Jason was honest and for him, it worked both ways. When it came to getting out of tough situations, he always failed miserably but it also helped avoid misunderstanding's simply because he said things as they were. There was no need to sugar coat and more often than not, he had good intentions for everything he did. He hoped that his good but perhaps selfish motives would suffice to at least have another chance at lunch, he was sure it would but who knew.

'CAUSE I'VE NEVER FELT SO ALIVE
Bell. How long had it been since someone had called her Bell? Hearing Jason address her by that nickname made her smile inwardly as she remembered days that seemed like an eternity ago. Venice. In ways she missed it and, in others, she didn't. They seemed like days, months and years from a different life, not the one she was currently living within! It wasn't paradise, no, Bella couldn't admit that much but it wasn't exactly an end-of-the-world hellhole either but what it was to Bella was fine - a haven from a world she'd rather not live within, a world where you were led to believe you were the last of your kind. The blonde found her cheeks turning rose-like in colour as Jason almost shyly complimented her name, said it was beautiful. Bella could have said "it translates from Italian into beautiful" but, in all honesty, she felt like she might come across rude by saying something that could be deemed as snobby, and that was one thing Bella didn't want to seem. "Thank you, Jason," though she said it quickly, she let herself smile and try to show she wasn't flattered by his compliment to her name. The bad thing was that anything someone said to Bella that was remotely complimentory Bella found herself flustered and blushing, which was a curse and a blessing. Some people found that kind of reaction to be rather adorable and cute, others found it downright annoying and childish. The remaining people either didn't really care or notice and the blonde began to wonder... what was Jason's going to be? Bella hoped she hadn't made herself seem either a) egotistical or b) had low self-esteem. Bella simply wanted to have company in someone who was at least a little timid. Joseph had his awkward moments but wasn't timid or shy whilst Kevin... God, Kevin was a complete rebel.

Jason grinned enthusiastically when Bella agreed to letting him give her a tour, just like a dog who was thrown a bone. It was rather cute, how he had reacted so happily! A small and, dare I say, awkward laugh tumbled from the man's lips who, turning Bella's attention towards the palace, began to lead her forwards. He said something about a king and Bella blinked, feeling rather dim - Hawaii had a king? Now she felt like an idiot, not knowing whether or not this little island had a king. Hearing a sigh from Jason, Bella's gaze fell upon him as he apologised: he knew nothing about Iolani Palace! Bella sighed with relief. "Youre not the only one, so that's okay. I know nothing about the entire island, only the fact that, well, I live here now!" She laughed, a little awkwardly, feeling slightly embarressed. "Skipping to lunch is cool with me - after such a tiresome tour and all!" There was a teasing tone to the girl's voice and hopefully, Jason had picked up on it and underratood she was only joking, she wasn't trying to make him feel stupid or anything like that. Bella would've kicked herself if Jason took it offensively - the girl hated making people feel small or silly. Intentionally hurting someone's feeling was something Bella could never do... unless she loathed said person with a passion. If there was someone Bella did loathe she would do her best to make them feel hideous and terrible about themself - Bella did have the ability to bathe her words in venom and cut with a sharp tongue, but she simply prefered not too. It'd be that "I want you dead" kinda of hatred that'd bring out Bella insensitive, almost bullying side.
