Pearl Harbor (2 Threads)
Everyone knows about the deadly attack on Pearl Harbor that initiated the beginning of World War II, but not everyone can now call it the Headquarters of the Maka'i police. Except, of course, the remaining survivors of Test #0156-X3. Previously a water naval base for the US Pacific Fleet, it has now been substituted as the Head Office for the policing officials around the Island.

Iolani Palace (3 Threads)
Elegant white columns rise up from black pavement, framing gold-curtained windows. The palace is all elegance, the towers at each corner of the building straight and dignified. Surrounded by palms and hibiscus flowers and decorated with furniture of native koa and kamani woods, the palace is something most natives look upon with a nationalistic pride. The palace is regarded as sacred and high-class in most respects, making it the central gathering for government meetings and extravagant celebrations.

Aloha Tower (5 Threads)
Rising up into the cloud-brushed sky is a pale tower reaching up ten stories, topped on two sides by a circular clock. Below the clocks, the word ALOHA can be seen from miles away, a welcoming to tourists visiting the island and sailors returning to harbor. At night, the tower functions as a lighthouse while it can function as a trusty landmark during the day. Within is an elevator which leads to the tenth floor balcony, used by many for scouting out the marketplace below.

The Red Lion (5 Threads)
Set in concrete with urban chairs arranged outside, the Red Lion seems to be a modern bar from the outside. Inside, however, it possesses an Irish charm, being that it is furnished with dingy leather stools at the bar and red plaid booths around the walls. Dimly lit when open, the pub smells strongly of cigarette smoke, stale liquor, and cooking grease. Open only to those over the age of twenty-one, the Red Lion provides entertainment in the form of local bands, which tends to bring a decent crowd to the rather small dance floor. Rumor has it that there's a strip club on the second floor, though some hardly care whether or not this is true.

Thomas Park (13 Threads)
With palm trees springing up around the perimeter, Thomas Park is a relaxing getaway for any wanderer. The grass here is bright and flourishing with tufts of sand littered here and there. In the middle of a large sand pit is a swing set for children to play on, and it isn't altogether uncommon to see an exotic bird fly from tree to tree. This is the place for picnics, casual meetings, or just a way to spend a free day off work.

Waikiki Beach (10 Threads)
Pure sand, almost white in color and bordered on one side by hotels and human development and by the deep blue sea on the other. The beach spans the majority of the island and is a popular tourist attraction, known for the sun and surf. While Waikiki may be an ideal place for hula dancing and bonfires at night, rumor has it that the beach can be dangerous when the sun sets here.

Stairway To Heaven (1 Threads)
Looming above the rest of the island like a seraphic guardian, the rightfully named Stairway to Heaven leads up the side Haiku Valley and into the clouds above Hawaii. The stairs are metal and may appear sturdy, but the occasional creak of the elevated pathway can scare even the bravest of souls when paired with the dense fog and occasional winds. Surrounded by vibrant green, the stairs are a link to a more primal world untouched by industrialization.

East Side Cliffs (0 Threads)
A hotspot for volcanic activity, the islands of Hawaii are constantly expanding into rocky cliffs of cooled magma. Varying in shades of gray and brown, the cliffs are porous structures notorious for their ever-changing nature. A wrong step on these fragile cliffs could lead one plummeting into the surrounding waters, so exercise caution.

Residential (4 Threads)
Hawaii is full of numerous communities, some of them good and some of them bad. While a few of the wealthier families have managed to secure their own homes, many people live in apartments. Even some of the old hotels have been made into apartments for the refugees.

Elsewhere (13 Threads)
Of course, in Hawaii there are numerous places to be discovered and found. Be it a bookstore or somewhere else not in the above boards, those threads are to be based here. Remember, you are not to leave the city, so everywhere inside this board must take place within Hawaii. [The exception to this are threads that are being finished from BEFORE the revamp.]
